Our Encounter with Chiphadzuwa – Guest Experience

We recently had guests Robert and Ellen Demmendal visit us from Amsterdam. Robert and Ellen are seasoned safaris goers and have been following Shenton Safaris avidly on social media and the webcams since they booked to come to stay with us.

Both Robert and Ellen are glued to the webcams back home, and it was such a treat for them to finally get to experience theĀ Hippo Hide and the Last Waterhole Hide in person.

However, the highlight was finally being able to meet our feline family that they get to read about every week in our Big Cat Roundup blog. One of their highlights was coming across Chiphadzuwa on an afternoon drive. Robert, the keen photographer, and Ellen, the keen filmer, managed to capture some great footage and were happy to share their content with us.

Chiphadzuwa posed, as usual, on a horizontal branch of an Ebony tree, framed perfectly for the photographs. As if that wasn’t enough, she then started to call out for a mate.
