May 25th, 2014 – by Patrick

On my first game drive of this season we saw a nice pride of lions from the Hollywood pride, about 6 females and 9 cubs.

But we struggled to find leopards, until the 3rd day on our night drive, when we saw a nice young male leopard quite close to camp. We saw him again the next morning. This time he had a kill up in the tree, he had killed a big male bushbuck. It was quite hard to photograph him because he was very shy.

But when we went back in the afternoon, he was quite relaxed and we managed to take some photos in a very good light. This was a good start with my first guests as leopards are fairly elusive and shy during the daytime.
