A nice sighting of a pride of lions (Mwamba Pride) on our safari to Mwamba Bushcamp…

The pride consisted of one male, five cubs, and two adult females. But the big male wasn’t too happy with us because we got too close to him and he gave us a heavy growl which managed to send us away.

After we left the lions we bumped into a honey badger who was trotting along and we followed him until he got into a fallen hollow mopani tree where he spooked a genet who was sleeping inside the tree.

It was so great to see the honey badger and the genet in the day because it is very rare to see these animals in the day, particularly the genet. It was awesome.
