We always get worried and concerned during the rains about Elliot (the resident male leopard near Mwamba Bush Camp).

This leopard has only one eye, which we always think may make his life miserable, but so far so good, it’s been over 5 years now!

I was really excited to see him for the first time this season, and delighted to see that he was still looking good. It was actually the second sighting as my colleague Sly had spotted him a week earlier.

And Kylie, Elliot’s mother, has also been seen once or twice. We are very happy to know that both those leopards are still around and healthy.
