Chiphadzuwa hunting

Beautiful Chiphadzuwa was spotted lazing on a termitarium close to Fish Eagle Lagoon. Patrick Njobvu and his guests from Kaingo Camp, saw the beautiful young Leopardess posing in the afternoon sunlight.

She seemed disappointed to have been spotted and soon stalked off the mound to stroll along the Luangwa River,

walking towards some distant Puku.

Finding an opening to a gulley she quickly slipped into it and disappeared.

Hidden from view, she slunk along the bottom until she came to a Hippo-gulley leading to the plains above.

One last look-around to make sure that she was unobserved and

she entered the gulley, then

crept along it, until she could poke her head above the rim.

A sharp-eyed Puku immediately spotted her and whistled its piercing alarm.

Realising that her game was up, she slunk away dejected.
