July 4th, by Meyam.

I was so excited to hear from my colleague Patrick that he had found some African wild dogs early that morning, it was the first sighting of the season in our area. By the time I arrived on the sighting,  it was late in the morning and the dogs were laying down in the grass, so we left them thinking we may have more luck later in the day.

We returned in the afternoon light and saw the dogs on the move, we had great opportunities for photography, before they disappeared again in the thickets. It was a pack of 4 females.
